OK, you know I am all for more male nudity in movies, but I’m not sure I am that excited about them getting Harry Potter naked in the upcoming films. I mean, c’mon, the Harry Potter films have traditionally been for the tweenie boppers. I LOVE the Potter books and like the movies a lot. But it just doesn’t seem necessary for the character to be baring all in the films. It’s not integral to the script at all and how many kids who are potterites are gonna get gyped out of seeing it because of overly conservative parents who already don’t like Harry being a sorcerer. Talk about cutting into your profit Margins. Plus the character is supposed to be 17. Whatever. Bottom line is I’d rather have a good movie that does justice to the book and the characters (unlike Half Blood Prince) than shock — or drool — value tactics to get attention. Have him make a movie about being a gay porn star and show him off all you want, does it need to be done here?

Daniel Radcliffe will bare all twice in the next ‘Harry Potter’ movie.
The actor – who has previously stripped for his part in stage production ‘Equus’, both in London and New York – will stun fans when he gets close to Emma Watson’s character Hermione Granger during a fantasy sequence in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.
Director David Yates revealed: “Daniel has appeared nude in the past. There are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress but we’re still thinking about how we present it.”
The scene occurs when Harry’s best friend and Hermione’s love interest Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint, is battling a monster which tries to defend itself by flashing a series of images where Harry and Hermione are kissing and embracing.”
Daniel will then expose himself in a later scene following a brush with death.
The director added: “There is another scene in Kings Cross station, where Harry almost dies and sees Dumbledore. In that scene he will also be naked.”
Daniel, 20, has previously admitted he was surprised by how comfortable he was appearing nude on stage.
He said: “It never really was an issue. I don’t know why, it probably should have been. I am terribly self-conscious. Although I remember I did look at my dad once and say, ‘Do you think I could wear pants?’ ”
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is being split into two instalments, with the first due for release next year. It is unclear in which parts the nude scenes will appear.
